50 years of barbie, is this something we should really be celebrating ?
although it may not have been intentional to RUTH HANDLER when she announced her barbie idea in 1959, the barbie was designed to be like a real person and therefore she is inspirational to young girls.

during childhood many girls play with dolls such as the barbie and when we grow up and dont look anything like a barbie we use make up and surgery to be more like barbie.
